Aberdeen’s Britt Rajcich and Montesano’s Hailey Blancas helped the Chambers Bay 17U PGA Junior League All-Star Team to a victory at a sectional qualifying event on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the Eagle Crest Golf Resort in Redmond, Oregon.

Rajcich and her partner finished with a 1-under-par 35 while Blancas and her teammate shot an even par 36 in the two-person scramble, 9-hole round format.

Chambers Bay placed first with Rock Creek Country Club and Meridian Valley CC placing second and third, respectively.

With the win, Chambers Bay will compete against the top teams in the northwest United States at the regional championship on Sept. 10-11 at Canyon Springs Golf Course in Twin Falls, Idaho.
