Montesano senior Marcus Hale earned a top honor as the 1A Evergreen League released its all-league football team for the 2024 season.
Hale won the league’s Defensive MVP honor from his linebacker spot, leading the Bulldogs with 92 tackles.
A total of 11 Bulldogs were named to the first team.
On offense, junior quarterback Tyson Perry (84-161, 1198 yards, 9 TD, 6 INT); running back Terek Gunter (70-452, 7 TD); receivers Toren Crites (32-536, 4 TD) and Mason Rasmussen (26-323, 2 TD) and offensive lineman Nathan Dowler earned First Team nods for the Bulldogs.

Defensive lineman Kyle Caton (18 tackles, 3 sacks, fumble recovery); linebacker Kole Kjesbu (41 tackles, 2 INT, 2 fumble recoveries) and defensive back Zach Timmons (46 tackles, 2 INT) were Bulldogs named to the league’s First Team defense, joining Hale.
Monte punter Felix Romero (38.11 avg.) and kicker Cristofer Tobar (33-33 PAT, 5-6 FG, 43.5 yards/kickoff) were named to the First Team as special-teamers.
Elma and Hoquiam had three players apiece named to the First Team.
Eagles receiver Ethan Camus (34-416, 9 TD); defensive lineman Traden Carter (32 tackles, 2 INT, fumble recovery) and safety Isaac McGaffey (45 tackles, 6 INT) were named to the league’s top squad.
Grizzlies tight end Lincoln Niemi (34-346, 4 TD) and offensive lineman Ryan Pullar were named to the First Team offense while linebacker Winston Kaikaka was named to the First Team defense.
