Montesano 204, Rochester 262
Montesano defeated Rochester 204-262 in a 1A Evergreen League match on Tuesday at the Oaksridge Golf Course in Elma.
The Bulldogs were led by Jessie LaLonde, who earned Medalist of the Match honors with a 9-hole round of 46.
Teammates Maggi Kupka and Lucy Scott posted identical score of 50 with Rory Gourdin (58) rounding out Monte’s top four scores on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs hit the road to face Fort Vancouver at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

For the second time in as many days, Aberdeen lost a 2A Evergreen League game to W.F. West with a 6-0 defeat on Wednesday in Chehalis.
The Bobcats (5-6, 2-5 2A Evergreen) allowed four unearned runs on three errors to spoil an otherwise quality performance by Aberdeen starting pitcher Gabe Matthews (4 IP, 4R, ER, 4H, 2BB, K) and reliever Ryder Creamer (2 IP, 2R, ER, 3H, K), who combined to allow two earned runs on seven hits with two walks and two strikeouts in the game.
Aberdeen had just five hits in the game – all singles – led by third baseman Chad Fretts, who went 2 for 2 to lead the Bobcats.
Aberdeen hosts Shelton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Centralia 4, Aberdeen 2
Aberdeen lost four of six matches in a 4-2 loss to Centralia on Wednesday in Aberdeen.
Bobcats singles player Madi Ritter won her match as did the doubles team of Kimberly Membreno and Natalie Mareth.
Aberdeen head coach Ashley Kohlmeier noted the play of her top singles player, Sophie Knutson, who played what she called her third “marathon” match in as many days.
”While the results aren’t quite what we are looking for, I’m glad she is getting this level of competition as we gear up for postseason,” Kohlmeier said of Knutson. “I was very impressed with our wins from Madi Ritter and Mareth and Membreno. That doubles match was close from the first point and I’m proud of the girls for digging in and pulling out the victory in three very close sets.”
Aberdeen will host Hoquiam for the first time in over a decade at 3:30 p.m. on Friday in Aberdeen.
