Montesano got in the win column while Pe Ell-Willapa Valley, Ocosta and Raymond-South Bend picked up victories as we review a busy prep softball Tuesday on the Harbor.

PREP SOFTBALL
Montesano 10, Auburn Riverside 3
After three straight losses to open the season, Montesano picked up its first win with a 10-3 victory over Auburn Riverside on Tuesday in Auburn.
The Bulldogs (1-3 overall) led 1-0 when the offense scored five runs in the top of the fifth inning, highlighted by a three-run home run from infielder Jaelyn Butterfield.
Monte would add four more runs the following frame on five consecutive base hits, including RBI doubles from catcher Ali Parkin and Butterfield to take a 10-3 lead.
Monte freshman pitcher Violet Prince continues to impress, allowing three unearned runs on two hits and seven walks with 15 strikeouts to earn the complete-game victory.
Seven different Bulldogs collected a hit in the game, led by Butterfield, Parkin, left fielder Liv Robinson and center fielder Adda Potts with two hits apiece.
The top of Monte’s lineup – Robinson, Parkin and Butterfield – went a combined 6 for 12 with three runs scored and eight runs batted in.
The Bulldogs host Lynden Christian at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Raymond-South Bend 19, North Beach 0
Raymond-South Bend opened 2B Pacific League play with a 19-0 win over North Beach in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday in South Bend.
The Ravens (4-0, 2-0 2B Pacific) put up crooked number in each inning to score 19 runs on 12 hits and eight walks against the Hyaks (1-3, 0-2)
The RSB offense smacked six doubles in the game and had three players – third baseman Berklee Morley, catcher Ava Pine and pitcher Macey Enlow – record multi-hit games.
Morley went a perfect 4 for 4 with three runs scored, Pine belted two doubles and Enlow drove in three runs for the Ravens.
Enlow earned the win in the circle, allowing no runs on two hits with three walks and a strikeout in three innings pitched.

Raymond-South Bend 23, North Beach 2
Raymond-South Bend’s offense stayed red hot with a 23-2 five-inning win over North Beach in the nightcap on Tuesday.
Dynamic Ravens center fielder Emma Glazier hit her third home run of the season with a Grand Slam followed by infielder Kassie Koski, who rounded the bases for an inside-the-park home run in RSB’s 10-run fifth inning.
The Ravens had nine hits, drew 14 runs in the game and scored 10 unearned runs on eight North Beach errors.
Glazier went 3 for 3 with a Grand Slam, a double, five runs scored and five RBI to lead the Ravens.
Josie Houk had two hits in the game, scored four runs and drove in two in the victory.
The Ravens scored 19 or more runs for the fourth consecutive game to start the season with the victory.
Summer Stigall earned the victory for RSB, allowing no runs or hits while walking three and striking out four in two innings pitched.
Maddy San pitched three innings of relief, striking out five and walking two, to combine with Stigall for a five-inning no-hitter.
“Overall, our bats and defense were great but I’m extremely proud of how well they’re doing the little things right,” RSB head coach Dakota Fluke said. “They’re really working hard on that.”

Ocosta 29, Oakville 0
Ocosta picked up its first win of the season with a 29-0 rout of Oakville on Tuesday in Westport.
The Wildcats (1-2) took advantage of 18 walks by Acorns pitchers and scored 10 unearned runs in the game.
Ocosta did plenty of hitting as well, led by first baseman Sophie Olive, who had two hits – including a bases-loaded three-run double in the third inning – scored four runs and drove in five for the Wildcats.
Oakville pitchers plunked Ocosta batters 10 times in the game. Ocosta’s Brooklyn Blake had the unfortunate distinction of being hit by a pitch four times in the game, scoring three runs and driving in a run in the process.
Joanah Rosander earned the win for Ocosta, allowing two hits and three walks with 13 strikeouts in five scoreless innings of work.
“Game today was a great team win,” Ocosta head coach Makenzie Sylvester said. “Eighth grader Alissa Lamm stepped up to catch for us and Joanah Rosander did great in the circle.”
Ocosta plays at Wahkiakum at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Pe Ell-Willapa Valley 16, Ilwaco 1
Pe Ell-Willapa Valley’s offense claimed its most recent victim in Ilwaco with a 16-1 drubbing in the first game of a double header on Tuesday at Ilwaco High School.
The Titans (3-1, 2-0 2B Pacific) bludgeoned the Fishermen (1-2, 0-2) for 18 hits, including four triples.
PWV was led by Jillian Hodel and Tylar Keeton with four hits apiece.
The top of the Titans lineup did major damage to the Ilwaco pitching staff.
The quartet of leadoff hitter Lauren Matlock, Hodel, Keeton and Sophia Milanowski went a combined 13 for 14 with 11 runs and 13 RBI.
Keeton had two triples and drove in five runs to lead PWV.

Pe Ell-Willapa Valley completed the doubleheader sweep with a 16-0 win in the nightcap on Tuesday.
PWV put the game in mercy-rule territory with 11 runs in the third inning, highlighted by a three-run home run from Sophia Milanowski and a two-run blast off the bat of Addison Merkel.
Milanowski went 3 for 3 and drove in five runs.
C.J. Sipp, Merkel, Tylar Keeton and Lorelei Smaciarz had two hits apiece for the Titans.
PWV faces Kittitas and Warden at 1 p.m. on 3 p.m., respectively, on Saturday at Kittitas High School.
