Wishkah’s Haskey named WIAA “Athlete of the Week”

Wishkah Valley girls basketball player Brooke Haskey was named the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s 2B Girls “Athlete of the Week”on Wednesday.

Haskey averaged a double-double in three games during the week of Feb. 2-8 to earn the honor. The 5-foot-5 junior averaged 10.6 points and 10.4 rebounds during that time span, posting stat-lines of 26 points, 15 rebounds; 14 points, 15 rebounds and nine points, 14 rebounds over three games.
