Elma racing HoF induction ceremony postponed
Citing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) concerns, the Elma Auto Racing Hall of Fame Board of Directors decided to postpone its 2020 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony until further notice, the board announced Tuesday.
“We are sorry for the late notice and any inconvenience this has created,” explained board president Rick Leighty. “The event was shaping up to be an outstanding and fun evening, but ultimately it is the safety of our families and friends that we must think of. We initially believed with added safety precautions that everyone would be safe, but information, suggestions and advice late Tuesday changed our minds. We hope everyone understands.”
A rescheduled date will be announced by the board once available.
