Tumwater pulled away from Aberdeen late to hand the Bobcats a 7-1 loss on Thursday in Tumwater.
Aberdeen (2-4 overall, 1-2 2A Evergreen) trailed 2-0 before allowing four runs with two outs Tumwater’s five-run fifth.
Aberdeen’s lone run of the game came in the top of the sixth inning when outfielder Luca Pisani reached on a single and later scored on a wild pitch to make it a 7-1 ballgame.
The Bobcats struggled to score off Tumwater pitchers Ryan Orr and Blake Smith, who combined to allow no earned runs on six hits with 11 strikeouts.
Pisani led the Bobcats, going 3-for-3 with a run.
Cathcer Charlie Ancich went 2-for-2 and first baseman Trevon Nichols was 1-for-3 for Aberdeen.
Hunter Eisele took the loss for Aberdeen, allowing five earned runs on six hits with eight strikeouts and four walks in 4 2/3 innings pitched.
Aberdeen will host the Thunderbirds (6-3, 3-2) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hoquiam fell behind early and never recovered in an 11-1 loss to University Prep in a non-league matchup on Thursday at Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam.
Hoquiam (1-7) fell behind 4-0 in the top of the first and 11-0 before scoring a run in the bottom of the fifth on a Jake Templar single that drove in Logan McMinn, who was aboard with a leadoff double.
Riley Montoure took the loss for the Grizzlies, allowing six runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks in two innings pitched.
Hoquiam will host Elma in a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

A clutch home run late broke a tie game in Grays Harbor’s 8-4 loss to Tacoma on Wednesday in Tacoma.
The Chokers (8-14, 1-2 NWAC West) fall behind 4-1 after three innings but picked up a run when Montesano graduate Aaron Lano singled in Reese Shioji and Chase Cleveringa in the top of the fourth.
GHC tied the game at 4-all when Cameron Denny was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, scoring Ian Winterhalder.
But in the bottom of the eighth, Tacoma’s Albert Jennings belted a three-run homer off Chokers reliever Dallas Kaili to regain the lead.
Tacoma’s Cade Crist singled later in the inning to score Kamana Nahaku for an 8-4 lead.
GHC infielder Aidan McMurdo went 2-for-5 to lead the Chokers.
Grays Harbor starter Camden Ryan took the loss for the Chokers, allowing four earned runs on four hits with three strikeouts and two walks in five innings pitched.
Grays Harbor plays at Lower Columbia at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
