VANCOUVER — Two Twin Harborites captured regional championships in the Elks Hoop Shoot competition on Saturday in Vancouver.

Elma Elementary School student Lincoln Niemi and Raymond’s Kassie Koski each sank 23 of 25 free throws to win the boys and girls 8-9 age groups, respectively. They were named the Shooters of the Day (the top performers in all age groups) for their respective genders.

Niemi and Koski will advance to the national hoop shoot April 19-21 in Chicago.
