TACOMA — Life Christian Academy scored twice in the opening 11 minutes en route to victory over Ocosta in a Central League contest Wednesday.

The Eagles owned a 3-0 halftime lead in a physical game that included four yellow cards (three on Life Christian). Ocosta coach Mike King called this his team’s most physical match-up to date.

“We will address how to avoid and get out of these situations at practice, so in the future we can match up better in a physical game,” King said. “Life Christian came out ready to play and had a rowdy crowd that got into the girls’ heads. They controlled all aspects of the game tonight.”

Wildcat goalkeeper Kristi Raffelson had 11 saves. Kianna Battiste was cited for overall play.

The Wildcats (1-1, 2-1) host Onalaska on Monday.
